In my ocean scenes, I find immense joy in exploring the ethereal qualities of glazing. This technique involves layering thin, translucent washes of color, one over another, to create a sense of depth and luminosity that’s truly captivating.

Glazing allows me to capture the fleeting moments of light reflecting off the waves, the subtle shifts in color as the water deepens, and the almost mystical atmosphere that often surrounds the ocean. It’s a process of building up not just color, but also a sense of wonder and the intangible magic of the sea.
